The Listening Space

A gentle monthly circle with Amity to explore what’s next, without forcing it.

Welcome to The Listening Space

A gentle monthly circle for soul-led creatives, dreamers, and changemakers who sense that something new wants to emerge, but don’t want to force it.

Whether you're navigating transition, longing for clarity, or simply craving a quieter pace to create from... this is a space to return to yourself, and walk alongside others doing the same.

This is for you if...

  • You feel something is shifting, but aren’t sure what comes next

  • You’re sitting with big questions, without rushing toward answers

  • You long to reconnect with your own rhythm and inner wisdom

  • You’re craving creative energy rooted in presence, not pressure

  • You want to walk alongside others in a season of unfolding

Something new is calling.

After years of soulful work and deep community care, we find ourselves in a pause, a space between stories, a moment of quiet before the next chapter begins.

We don’t yet know exactly what’s next and that’s okay.

Instead of rushing to fill the gap, we’re choosing to listen.

And we’re inviting you to listen with us.

What’s included

Monthly Live Gatherings

Each month includes two live sessions:

  1. A Listening Circle to slow down and reconnect with what matters. This is a space to listen - to yourself, to others, and to what life might be whispering beneath the noise. Each circle includes a guiding theme and space for quiet reflection and optional sharing in community.

  2. A Gentle Action Hour to support soulful momentum and move from inspiration to expression. This is a space to take aligned action. We begin with a grounding prompt, then move into focused time for gentle doing, each in our own way, together.

Private WhatsApp Group

Alongside our live gatherings, we’ve created a WhatsApp group to stay connected between sessions.

It’s a quiet space to share reflections, ask questions, and feel supported by a like-hearted community.

We’re keeping it warm, simple, and intentional -just enough connection to remind you that you’re not walking alone.

Monthly Prompts

Each month, you’ll receive a soulful prompt to help you pause and turn inward. These prompts aren’t tasks to complete or boxes to tick; they’re invitations to listen more deeply, to meet yourself where you are, and to let your own clarity emerge in its own time. Whether you sit with the prompt in stillness, journal with it, explore it on a walk, or let it stir something creative in you, there’s no “right” way to engage. We’ll share the prompt in our WhatsApp group, and you’ll also find a growing library of past prompts in a shared document, so you can return to them whenever you need a quiet companion on the path.

What others are saying

  • I love these sessions, they’re so energising! I get challenged about what I think and my preconceived ways. It’s easy for me to get carried away about all the things that could happen and having the space to sit and talk with you made me feel really comfortable. I haven't actually felt this way in a long time, which is very calm and grounded. It’s sometimes very easy to think that you can’t do something, but this has helped me remember that actually I can do things, we can do things.

    Community Programme Participant

  • I feel I've had a big transformation. Before working with Amity I had a lot of ideas for projects but I was too fearful to take action and do them seriously. I now feel able to calm down my anxieties and commit to seeing an idea through to its fruition.

    Community Programme Participant

  • The group feels magical, I haven’t joined something that gels in this way before. It’s amazing what people can do together, we didn't know each other and it's incredible where we are. I often wonder if I have the energy to be an active participant, but these calls inspire me about what’s possible.

ABOUT US

For over 12 years, with their organisation Amity, Katie and Maria have been exploring our human experience and how people can be supported to create the communities and lives they dream of. They light up when pointing people in the direction of their true nature and their unique inspiration. Witnessing the meaningful action that transforms lives and communities when people align with each other via their shared nature and their individual speciality is what inspires their work.

A bit about María

María’s adult life has been mainly dominated by overthinking, second guessing herself and underlying dissatisfaction and insecurity. Guided by a feeling that there was more to life than met the eye she stumbled upon a simple, yet magical understanding, that shifted her experience of life to one with more ease, joy and wonder.

Leading from the head, striving and working hard started to loose appeal and a curiosity for what was behind people’s wellbeing and thriving communities led her to become a heart centred coach and facilitator and to co-found Amity CIC, a non profit based in the UK, supporting emerging collaborative leaders to take meaningful action in their communities.

She loves the simple joys of life like walks in nature, nourishing conversations & meals and cuddles with her wife, daughter and dog. She is passionate about gently and powerfully guiding others to bring their unique expression to life.

A bit about Katie

Katie has long been fascinated by what makes the experience of collaboration fruitful and enjoyable. Having been active in her community from a young age she often found the experience of collaborating for change to be uncomfortable, exclusionary and ineffective. Inspired to support people to create the lives and communities they dream of she co-founded Amity CIC. She brings her coaching and facilitation experience together with her grounding in the three principles understanding to support people to realise for themselves that connection and joy are our true nature, at the heart of community, and the source of positive action for change. Katie loves spending time with her family, swimming, surfing and deepening her alignment with her purpose of creating true ways of being, powered by a tender heart.
